About Us

We are a small heritage learning consultancy that works hard to deliver high quality support and training to the heritage sector. From historic houses to museums, gardens to national parks, our client base covers a broad range of heritage organisations. With advice and resources on everything from museum interpretation panels to garden adventure trails, our service and expertise is as varied as your venue.

Kate Measures Consulting specialises in helping our clients to create inspiring learning and interpretation experiences in heritage environments.

Engaging trails and hands-on activities, cutting-edge podcasts and digital stories, visitor-generated interpretation, developing relationships with new audiences, practical evaluation for projects, strategic plans that really work, training and development opportunities that leave you ready for any challenge.

Meet the team

Kate has over 14 years experience of developing inspiring visitor experiences in the heritage environment. She is a learning and education specialist and our Lead Consultant

Judith is our Office Manager and makes sure the office keeps ticking! She has been with the consultancy for 5 years and regularly manages conference logistics, training bookings, oral history transcription services and proof-reading as well as all the day-to-day stuff.

Diane, our Resource Development and Delivery Officer is always busy creating fabulous interpretation for our consultancy projects

Brand new to our team, Evaluation and Research Officer Jennie is on board to help with research and evaluation

We are based in the Beautiful Harewood Estate in Yorkshire, but our exciting portfolio of work covers England, Wales and Northen Ireland. Our new environmentally friendly office is in the old Kennels builing of the Estate, surrounded by majestic oaks and vistas of grazing deer.

We are committed to an ever improving environmental and social responsibilty policy, and work closely with suppliers to ensure we give our clients a range of options to minimise the impact of their projects too.
